It's a beaut Chris.

For the second year in a row, we went to cut down our own Christmas tree with my Aunt and Cousin.   The boys really enjoyed the adventure of running around in the dirt pointing to every tree saying "this one, this one".  Both boys understood that we were going to bring a tree home and that they were going to help cut it down. We told them that they have to check all sides of the tree to make sure it was even and so for any contenders, they would run around the tree "checking" it.  If we asked if they liked a particular tree, they would hug it.  It was so fun to be able to do something that the boys have done the year before so we have a reference point of where we were this time last year.  It's fun that a year can give them so much independence and can allow them to really embrace the spirit of the adventure. 

Who can resist a toddler with his hands in his pockets.
